- The chipper shredders is fitted with two in feed chutes. The side chute is for chipping wood branches up to 3″ thick whilst the top shredding chute can pulverise large bundles of green waste.
- Simply start the engine and increase its revs to its maximum and you are ready to go.
- There is a lever on the side of the Machine that adjusts a grille which keeps material in the shredding chamber for longer to ensure it is shredded evenly. By moving this lever you can move the grille out of the way allowing wet vegetation to be expelled from the machine.
- It is because you have the option to chip or shred that you can reduce such large volumes of garden waste that is just not possible with just a standard chipping machine. Often we find that there is more green material than woody, and this is when the chipper shredder comes into its own.
